The weekends are always crazy busy with football, but I wouldn't have it any other way. Friday nights usually consist of baby-sitting or dinner/going out with friends - then Saturdays up bright & early to tailgate until game time. I have a love/hate relationship with night games bc some people get a little too crazy, but tailgating all day is my favorite. We usually get to our tailgate around noon - the boys get there at 6am. I'm glad they do, so we don't have to. 

This Friday night was my friend Katherine's annual family Halloween party. They have a gorgeous house on the lake with a great dock for the party, but it poured alllll day, so it wasn't as rowdy as usual, but we had a great time anyway.

Yesterday we played South Carolina. Bless our hearts. That was one of the worst games I've ever seen. It was painful. 

We had a little photo shoot in my backyard before we left. 

I am finally finally finally running on the reg again. Kimsey (who hates running) has actually been coming with me some. It's fun to have someone to run with. I've lost 5lbs in the last two weeks, so it's obviously working. I have a training app on my phone which is definitely helping.

I signed up for a 5k on the 13th & Boulevard Bolt on Thanksgiving, so I have to keep myself in gear.

I think the cold that the kids have been passing around has finally hit me. Yuck.

Lately...

I realize I've been MIA lately, but I've been pretty busy with work & just life in general! The weather has been pretty gorg here in east Tennessee lately & I am thankful for it.

Rodan + Fields moisturizer
I have super dry skin & this stuff is awesome. My skin has never felt so soft.

Cargo Blush

I'm completely addicted to this blush. It has the greatest finish & the best colors. I love them all. It's a bit pricey, but it lasts at least 6mo - sometimes longer

Hair Spray
What southern girl can't live without hair spray?! 

7. Essie or OPI?

I used to be a total OPI snob, but Essie has grown on me. I do shellac now, so I don't get to use either at the moment. Bummer.

I hate this question, talk about a guilt trip. I have been working out two-three times a week, but I have to step it up.

Birthday Time!

My birthday weekend was great except for the most obnoxious person at Cool Beans last night, but that's another story!!!!! I will have to say King Tut's may be my new favorite place in Knoxville. The food was not great, but it was SO. MUCH. FUN.

Birthday Eve

What a week it has been - shew! I am so glad it is Thursday. I still always feel like Thursday starts the weekend because I rarely had Friday classes in college & Thursday was/is also going out night. I also just have B on Fridays, so we get to play :) I can not wait for this weekend & to celebrate with my friends!! KING TUT here we come!

Apple announced the new iPhone today. Not the iPhone 5, but the iPhone 4S. I don't care, I will still be getting it whatever the model name may be. Good riddance to my old, faithful, mind of it's own BB.

Can't wait to get this sweet thing!

Kimsey & I went to the game yesterday & we had a great time! It was great football weather. After the game, we headed to our favorite mexican restaurant & then back out to the Strip to watch to watch the other SEC games! Such a fun night! 

We also celebrated Jen's 3rd annual 21st - as she says. Sadly, my camera died & so did my phone, so I have no pics. Sad face. 

It's my birth week, so I am pretty excited! I hope it goes by fast, so I can celebrate with my sweet friends all weekend long!
