Sunday: REST!
Back to work pretty much full-time this (last) week, so back to the gym at 6am. I really never thought I would be an early morning workout person, but I am. I hate when my alarm goes off, but I am so happy when I am walking out of the gym at 730am & am completely finished with my workout for the day. I probably wouldn't have stuck with it this long if I didn't go at 6am. Seriously. I'm so tired when I get off & I would always find an excuse not to go. I love morning workouts.
Monday: Speed workout AKA SPRINTS & recovery jog for 4 miles. Total: 4.55 miles
Tuesday: Easy run on an incline Total: 2.50 miles
Wednesday: Fast(ish) 4 mile run on the treadmill. Went to bed super early on Tuesday night, so I was seriously so refreshed. I had a GREAT run & was in a great mood for the rest of the day. Total: 5.18 miles
Thursday: REST! M&W went to NYC, so I stayed late with the kids.
Friday: Moved my 6 mile long run up to today since I was going out of town. I hadn't run 6 miles in probably 2 years, so I was proud of myself. It kind of snowed Thursday night & it was VERY cold. I think my coldest run yet. I wore 4 layers & had to take off the first layer within half a mile. Overall, it was pretty good - just very, very cold. I was so happy when it was over. Total: 6.50 miles
Saturday: REST! My legs hated me for spending so many hours in the car the day before. Yowza. I did some major foam rolling.
Weekly mileage: 18.73 miles
Monthly mileage: 34.53 miles
I should beat last month's total mileage, but if I don't - that's ok!
